How many claims can I file?
Plans for smartphone and iPhone include up to three successful claims over the life of your plan.
Can I use my SquareTrade plan to get same-day service at a local repair shop?
Depending on your plan, you may have the option to take your device to a local repair shop for same-day service. SquareTrade has over 100 authorized repair shops for you to choose from.
How does in-home/on-site service work?
SquareTrade offers on-site repairs for items that are too large to ship.
What happens if SquareTrade can't fix my item?
If while attempting to repair your item we determine that it is irreparable, we’ll contact you to discuss options for replacing it.
My item is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Can I still file a claim with SquareTrade?
If your item is still covered by the manufacturer (typically a year from purchase date) and the issue is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we’ll ask that you contact them first.
How do next-day or overnight replacements work?
We’ll overnight you a replacement for your item along with a prepaid label for you to use to return your broken device.
My replacement item just arrived and there's a problem. What do I do?
All of our replacement devices are guaranteed for 30 days.
Does SquareTrade guarantee repaired or replaced items?
Absolutely. All repaired or replaced items are guaranteed for 30 days.
If my device breaks, how will SquareTrade make it good again?
As soon as you file a claim, we’ll figure out the fastest and most convenient way to get your item fixed based on what it is, the type of damage, and the type of plan you have.
